Words

A cruel word can hurt someone,
Once it is said the damage is done.

A word of encouragement is always good,
It makes someone feel better as it should.

Sticks and stones cause pains that will heal,
Some words can cause pains that never will

.
So, ‘to think' before we talk, is clever,
What we say could affect someone forever.

It’s amazing what the power of words can do,
Good or bad words? The choice is up to you.
