It Happens All The Time

I wanted to be sure
I wanted you to be mine
I hear your voice in my head
It happens all the time

Something I’ve ignored
Invisible to the naked eye
The oceans I’ve explored
Emotions I’ve learned to hide

There was no master plan
I woke up in the garden
Essential air to breathe
Memories have come over me

There was no space in time
I wanted to survive
The key to an unlocked door
I’ve been through this before

I wanted to be sure
I wanted to redefine
Believing in what I know now
It happens all the time

I wanted to be sure
I wanted you to be mine
I hear your voice in my head
It happens all the time
