It wasn't Me, Deserted you,

My Heart, was on my Sleeve

Someone, has to Break the Chain,

the links were Broken, …open Wide

Someone, has to take the Blame

those Words, unspoken, Choke, Inside

Someone, has to Break the Chain

it May as well be Me.

Someone, has to take the Blame

it May, as well, …be Me.
