The Miracle of Christmas

One cold and bitter night
a bright star shone above,
a star God made for Mary
to guide her on with love.
May the peace and love of Christmas
be always in your life,
if it be dark and lonely,
may you find the guiding light.
 When you think no one is with you
to guide you on your way,
may the miracle of Christmas
remind you of Christ's birth day.
May the miracle of Christmas
be always in your heart,
and its spirit continue to linger
as every New Year starts.
I pray that it is with you
well into the Spring,
and that you find it in your heart
when Christmas comes again.
