Tonight we’re taking the truck
We’re going out to the backwoods
Going and maybe get stuck
Go and act like the boys should
Sit on the tailgate and have some fun
Watching the stars an talk about girls
Open the cooler an grab another cold one
Sit and talk and drink till the world twirls
Then go home and sleep it away
Having dreams of the night
Then wake up to a brand new day
Knowing everything is alright
Go to work, watch the time
After four, the night's all mine
Because that’s how us country boys do
