Here’s what ya do with it:
Melt butter in 8 or 9 inch pie plate
Place rum or brandy in the nearly empty jelly jar. (Preserves
will also work.) Shake to clean fruit residue and pour into the next
jar. About 3 jars should yield around 2 Tbsps of jelly plus the rum.
You can mix flavors, or separate berry from pit fruits (pears, peaches,
apricots, and add a bit of nutmeg) for a different time and different
flavor treat.
If using the large sz biscuits, tear or cut into fourths, if
using the small sz biscuits use 2 cans and cut in half. Dip and turn in
the melted butter pushing loosely together to cover bottom of pie plate.
Pour jelly mixture over the top, then sprinkle heavily with the
sugar/cinnamon. (Save leftover sugar/cinnamon in a shaker to use on
buttered toast or hot cereal.)
Bake at 350° in middle of oven about 15 minutes.
Serve hot, cold, or warmed over in microwave with a hot breakfast beverage.
