I try to be a good guy
and I work real hard
it just isn’t enough

I keep a roof over their heads
and I keep her well fed
it just isn’t enough

When do I get to be?
What the hell about me?
it just isn’t enough

even criminals get a chance
Damn them, is there a plan?
it’s just never enough

Only the weight of the world
Carrying only the entire load
is it ever enough?
