Why are we here

Why did we let a good thing slip away

What are we doing here
What are we headed towards
Why are we reaching out
Why are we feeling lost

Why are we here

Why did we let go of the things we should continue to hold

As big as the universe
As big as each chorus and verse
As big as the highest wave
As big as the promises we made

What happened to the love we once knew
Why did we let it fade out of view
